Terence Woodgate, author of pieces of lighting and furniture, is the best designer for 2008 according to the Wallpaper magazine.
In collaboration with John Barnard (lead Formula One racing car designer for Ferrari and McLaren, creator of Ferrari 641, which is a part of the permanent collection of МoМА in New York) designed the carbon fibre Surface table. The table spans 4 meters, has a thickness of 2 mm and a price of about 30,000 pounds. It’s a part of the Established & Sons collection. It was first exhibited at the Limited Gallery of London Design Festival 2008. Terence lives in East Sussex; he is married and has two sons. At the end of 2008 he visited Sofia for the presentation of the Surface Table. Architect Glebova was the creator of the setting and the venue was Sklada, the new showroom of Marticom.
